Milind Deora

Seasoned politician Milind Deora is expected to have influence among the Worli seat’s affluent residents and middle-class Maharashtrians, with several criticisms of the incumbent Thackeray’s term.

Given the numerous complaints about the incumbent Thackeray's term, seasoned politician Milind Deora is anticipated to have sway over the wealthy and middle-class Maharashtrians who live in the Worli seat.

Sandeep Deshpande

In an attempt to rally Marathi voters against the two Shiv Sena factions, Sandeep Deshpande, a third candidate from the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), is running for the Worli seat.

In the 2019 elections, there were roughly 269,003 registered voters in the Worli constituency, reflecting its broad demographic makeup. This comprises a mix of lower-income populations in older housing structures such as the BDD chawls and affluent people in high-rise buildings. According to news agency PTI, voter turnout in the seat has fluctuated, with 52.78 percent of voters participating this year and 49.55% in the previous assembly elections.

The results of the long-running conflict between the two main alliances—the ruling Mahayuti (BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP) and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (Congress, Shiv Sena UBT, and NCP-SP)—will be revealed on November 23 after voting for the Maharashtra Assembly elections was conducted in a single phase on November 20.
